Herbivore Botanicals Review: Pink, Coco Rose Body Polish

Herbivore Botanicals has managed to intrigue me with three things I LOVE!  I love pink. I love coconut. I love Rose! Coco Rose Body Polish is delicious!!

Soooooo, when I got to indulge in this sensorially tantalizing line of products, I was very excited. I had to photograph the packaging because along with great product formulation comes great packaging-but not always. Herbivore Botanicals managed to get it right on so many levels. Their packaging screams luxury, calm, and beauty. The white is so clean looking, the labels have clean lines, and the box is…well…so pretty!

I will start with the yummiest of body scrubs- Coco Rose- Coconut oil Body Polish. This is seriously decadent, and very fun to apply . I used only about a tablespoon in the shower and it smells heavenly , while it smooths out Winter’s dry rough patches. The texture is grainy from the sugar and smooth, but not too oily, from the coconut oil. Herbivore Botanicals uses virgin coconut oil with the exquisite Moroccan rose. Yes, you will smell like the queen Goddess you are! I love that their oils are cold-pressed or steam distilled. This way the valuable qualities are left.

The full ingredients from their website are :

Sucrose(sugar), Cocos Nucifera (Organic Virgin Coconut )oil, Capric Triglycerides, Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Butyrospermum Parkii ( Shea) Butter, Limanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Rosa Damascena (Moroccan Rose) Absolute, Rose Clay

This is such a delight to use and I left the shower feeling brand new and refreshed! The Jar is glass so you will want to not drop it in the shower!

I also had to try the Rose Hibiscus Hydrating Face Mist. Again, it has lovely, clean packaging and a perfect mist spray. So many toners and face mists have too strong of a spray that could practically blind you, but this one is like a gentle rain misting on my face. OK, I know that sounds a bit dramatic, but I just love it!  Herbivore Botanicals made this with coconut water, hibiscus flowers, and rose. It is a great toner, refresher after your makeup, or even if you have a hot flash or two. It also contains witch hazel and aloe vera.

Both of these products are extremely user friendly and they make your skin and body feel so great. I am impressed that the prices are so reasonable too!

I love that Julia Wills and Alexander Kummerow founded Herbivore Botanicals in their Seattle kitchen. I really like supporting smaller niche lines that have started with a dream, and made it in the industry- which can be tough and competive. I really look forward to trying more of their products in the near future.

Let me know if you have any questions or thoughts!
